Unmitigated Safety Disaster

The Genesis G70 3.3T AWD Sport Prestige is a beautiful car with excellent performance, let down by an incompetent and inconsistent dealer network and extremely poor customer service. I had multiple trim & finish issues, which I would let slide, if it weren’t for the unmitigated safety disaster caused by the advanced driver assistance features. The car would randomly panic brake at any speed, despite there being no object or obstacle on the road or roadside. It was towed to several dealerships over 7 months, during which time I was responsible for obtaining a rental car or begging for a service loaner. They attempted to repair the ADAS systems, and even replaced the front radar, but could not identify or rectify the issue. I disposed of the vehicle, at a loss, and am dismayed to see it listed for sale again.

G70 great car at a great price

Even as the starting model of Genesis, the G70 is packed with features at a great price and very sharp and stylish. I constantly get compliments about it. The tech is excellent and the audio system rocks. The only things missing is wireless Auto and Carplay and USB C ports.

This is the first Genesis or any Korean car I have driven. Totally satisfied with everything. Will definitely renew or upgrade when my lease is up. You are asking too much of the reviewer to write 250 words. Short and sweet should do it. This can get aggravating to the reviewer when you are so rigid on the number of words.

Perfect Balance

There's quite a bit to like about the G70. Genesis has built a perfectly balanced luxury/sporty sedan that is incredibly fun to drive. Only negative regarding this vehicle is the fuel efficiency could be stronger. Overall all it has tremendous value

Excellent all around!

This vehicle has been great! I don’t feel like they are overpriced. Functionality is great! It looks really cool. I get a lot of compliments on this car. I like all of the technology used in this vehicle. I have owned or for 2 years and have no issues.

Amazing value for an amazing car

I love my G70! Feel I got a great value for a luxury sedan car with all the perks! The engine has been amazing and really minimal complaints. The ride is amazing. The car speakers are great quality. Feel I got a great bang for my buck. Likely starting with Genesis from now on!

Great car. Fun to drive, reliable, comfortable

This is my 3rd Genesis, 2nd G-70. Didn't even look for another car. Great performance, comfort, looks and great dealer support. Enjoy driving the car and have had no issues. Whenever a maintenance issue came up, the dealer was very responsive in resolving it.

TERRIBLE NATIONAL OFFICE THAT NEVER RESPONDS, ITS BEEN MONTHS AND WAS SOLD A LEMON CAR. I have been waiting and calling every day to get a call back from the national office to escalate my complaints about the buy back process and no one has done anything

Simple. Fun to drive!

Performance and comfort in a nice package. Very pleased to say the least. I am often stopped and complimented on the vehicle and its looks. The car handles extremely well and is very fun to drive. The power is exceptional and you actually need to watch acceleration as you could let it get away from you.

head lamp filled with moisture both

brought the g70 october of 2021 a 2022 had to have both head lamps replaced one year later now 6 months both are filled with moisture again need to be replaced this is product defect of the manufacture have talked to other owners as well

Great balance of performance and luxury.

Excellent vehicle, the perfect balance of performance and luxury. Fun to drive. The road noise is a little more than I expected. Power and acceleration is well above average for the segment. Plenty of luxury features. A great value for the price point.

Worth every penny.

I bought my 2022 G70 new coming from a 2017 Silverado. Coming from being so high up to the g70 was a change but it was a great change. Car is so much fun to drive it gets up and goes with ease. 0-60+ before you know it. Even the eco mode setting the car gets up and goes. I got a sports prestige so it has all the bells and whistles you could ask for and more. I an extremely pleased with the purchase and cant speak better on how good a car it is. 30k miles on it and no issues at all.

Great car, terrible dealership experience over and over.

Car was solid, dealership disappoints time and time again. Issues with the dealership not wanting to warranty simple things, refusing to look at tarnished trim even though it was a known issue. Failed to pick up car during oil change. Never had loaners available, always took longer than quoted. Had to call Genesis of America to get them to do anything.

Happy G70 Driver

I have owned the 2022 G70 for a year now, overall I am a happy owner. The exterior design is beautiful, makes you smile every time you walk to it in a parking lot. The interior is nice, and makes use of the available space. The car overall leaves very little to be desired.

Great car

This is a great vehicle however there are some areas of concern as it pertains to vehicle paint, small dents and faded window trim. The vehicle drives well however during shifting it is very hard and take the vehicle a while to shift to the next gear. When I purchased the vehicle I inquired and the dealership stated that Genesis shift very hard and loud.

Best Sport Car I Have Owned

This car surprised the heck out of me. Originally I wasn't fond of the lack of rear leg room but after getting in for a test drive the performance and drive blew me away. . Braking is good as well. This car is a hoot to drive and coming from the G80, which obviously had more room but less get up and go grunt, I did not mind the downgrade in size nor did it factor in too much that there was less room and actually managed it well with rear passengers. This car exceeded my expectations. While I initially had concerns about the limited rear leg room, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding performance and driving characteristics during the test drive. The road mannerism shined in this car, as it handled twists and corners with ease and acceleration was sublime. The braking system is also commendable. Despite being smaller than my previous G80, which had more space but lacked power, I didn't mind the reduced size. The car still managed to accommodate rear passengers comfortably. Overall, driving this car was a lot of fun. It turns heads and I get complimented or asked about it everywhere I go.

Best compact sport sedan for the money

Best compact sport sedan for the money. Tons of features. Great performance. Beautiful interior. Watch out for discoloration of the dark sport chrome trim pieces and the sport brembo brake rotors appear to wear irregularly for most people. And be prepared to pay to play for the RWD tires. They are summer tires and staggered so they don't last long and are expensive to replace. Other than that lovely capable comfortable great handling car. Not much to dislike here.

Great car with some flaws

This car is great. Has great performance and styling along with safety and tech features and a nice audio system. However, the infotainment has some issues and there is a chance that every saved setting and location you set will be reset back to default. Happened to me once and it was very annoying. I had to reset every setting and I lost every saved location, POI, etc. This is unacceptable.
