Transmissions are not good

I like a honda oddessy, but their transmissions in the 2006 ain't worth a plug nickle. This is my 2nd 2006 and both have been bad. But I just live with it cause I can't afford another transmission. You've thought they would have had a recall on them. As many as were bad.

Towing!!

I love my HONDA...Nice size..economical..plenty of room to pack for our camping trips or other needs...only downfall is I would love to be able to tow a popup trailer or lite weight small camper..

Honda Odyssey

Great van. convenient. I do not like the sliding doors because they went out and it’s way too expensive to fix them. That’s my only complaint. Very dependable vehicle. Drive smooth and is great for sport trips and summer vacation trips storage is awesome with foldable backseat.

2006 Honda Odyssey owned from new.

This vehicle is a workhorse, does it all. Build and materials quality is very good but not excellent; small things do come up for repair. If you buy used, remember a timing belt change at 80-100 K miles is a couple grand. If you buy new, don't buy the very lowest model, but the second or third up gives you everything you want without such a high price. I'd guess we will replace this one eventually with a new Odyssey.

Great family Van

Our 2006 family Oddysey has 263000 and climbing even with 3 children our family pet Diesel whom we just lost. My only complaints are the paint is peeling from poor manufacturing and I wish mine was all wheel drive. Other than that magnificent!

Great family vehicle

Lots of space for leg room which makes it great for car seats. I live that the back seats can be folded down flat. The trunk space is also really deep and wide. Maintenance is not overly expensive and it is easy to get parts at any garage. Gas mileage is not too bad.

I LOVE my Odyssey

It has been a pleasure to own and drive and still is. I've had Ford, Chevy, Corvette, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Datsun/Nissan and Toyota. All have been good to own but the Odyssey has it all for me. I don't need another kind of vehicle. And my dog loves it, too. He travels in comfort and is always ready to go.

I enjoy driving my Odyssey

I have always enjoyed driving my Honday Odyssey. It has given me a lot of pleasure. It help me carry my grandchildren to places for fun. It help me to bring my cats out of danger from Hurricanes.

Best car ever Honda Odyssey

I bought my car new in 2006. That was the best thing I could have ever done. I keep the maintenance up and it has given me great service.. Would I buy another in a second!!!!!

Workhorse

Our 2006 Odyssey has been our best purchase. We have hauled everything from a sofa and love seat (at the same time) to a hospital bed, an automatic lift recliner chair and several storage containers (all at the same time). Our cat, Gretta, loves to ride in it on long trips. We love it!!!!

2006 Odyssey- Best car I ever owned.

Bought my Odyssey used at about 60k miles. Now has 102k miles. I will keep it until it has 500k miles. Drives like it came off the showroom floor last week. Nothing ever seems to go wrong with it. Ever. And it drives like a dream. Very smooth. Plenty of acceleration if you need it, and otherwise drives like a cloud. Excellent climate control. Great stereo. Lots of cup-holders and such. Converts to a utility mode easily. The back seats come out with no problem, and it becomes cavernous. I'm tall, and it's extremely hard to fit in most cars. This is the most comfortable seat I've ever had. I've had Toyota's, Nissan's Chrysler's and Fords. I will always buy Honda from this point forward.

My Odyssey

This is the best auto I have ever owned. At 70 years, I have had my share of cars, hands down this is the greatest. When I need another car, I will get another.

Great Vehicle

We have purchased an older 2006 model. Considering it was older it was still in very good condition. It's currently at almost 150,000 miles, and runs perfect. We make sure and do the routine maintenance regularly.

One of the best minivans on the market

We bought our Odyssey 2nd hand. It runs like a champ and has had very few maintenance problems. For the most part is goes from preventative maintenance check to preventative maintenance check. There are only two really big draw backs, is when it is time to change the timing belt, it is a real big ordeal, and if the van is equiped with on-board navigation, the update CD;s are almost $300!!!!

2006 Honda Odyssey

I bought this vehicle used at 60.000 miles. I now have 106,000. It is the best vehicle I've ever owned, including 4 previous Toyota's. Amazingly reliable, it seems like the only things I ever do are replace the brakes, tires and fluids. Excellent driving position (I have really long legs)... something Toyota still hasn't figured out Drives like a cloud, and with just about every feature you need. And it holds WAY more than my F-150. I can rave all day about the Odyssey. I'm only sorry I didn't get one earlier. It even looks good!
