Hyundai Tucson - 2024
UPDATE 08/19/2023:
Sports Durst Hyundai in Durham, NC….
This is my second purchase from this establishment and I had yet again, another PHENOMENAL purchasing experience.
Nick Dozier - a fantastic salesperson who is a wealth of knowledge on Hyundai’s and knows the meaning of customer satisfaction!
I was in for service on my current vehicle and always make a way to sales to say hello to him, Glenn, and the rest of the team. I knew I was about ready to purchase so we talked about my once dream car, Hyundai Veloster (WHY OH WHY DID YALL STOP PRODUCTION BEFORE I HAD MY CHANCE TO OWN MINE - A NEW ONE?)
I told him it would be soon. He emailed me to let me know my car was in demand, we made an appointment, and I am now the proud owner of a 2024 Intense Blue Hyundai Tuscon.
I told him what car I was looking to get and it was parked out front when I arrived. We took it for a test drive, he told me about the features, and even addressed, before I could comment, about the feel of sitting higher, as I previously owned sedans.
I LOVE my SUV!!
Honorable mention to Glenn, Jason, and Ramel - they ensured I received a great APR, reasonable payments (within my budget), and took the time to answer all my finance questions and ensured I understood my new commitment!
I wasn’t leaving without a car and they were going to ensure that occurred!
Looking forward to seeing my picture holding the sign “I Came First” and video of my sales experience, posted on social media.

UPDATE 7/2/2021: During my maintenance appointment, I went over to Sales to ask about the key holders, again. The salesperson who promised them to me said “you didn’t get them?” No, I didn’t and went on to explain that we chose them yet he didn’t finish the transaction on Amazon while I was there. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as I can easily see how things came up and he forgot yo hit “place place order”…..so I asked could we order them now? We did and I stayed until he hit “place order”. I received them. Very nice key holders. They cost 12.00 each. I’m not updating my stars because I’m VERY disappointed in what I experienced. He’s lost a future customer over 24.00.

UPDATE 6/13/2021: As originally posted, I had a great car-buying experience. I’ve also been pleased with my scheduled maintenance visits and the customer service I receive in thst department.
What I’m disappointed about is I was offered a free set of weather guard mats; however, they had come with my car purchase. So I asked if I could receive a set of key holders instead. I had to repeatedly follow up on this and the last time I was in for my maintenance, I walked over to the sales team and followed up again. The salesperson pulled up their Amazon business account, I confirmed my choice, they were approximately 15.00 each, and was told they would order them and have them delivered to my home. That was 7000 miles ago and I’ve still not received them. The weather guard mats are approximately 250.00….I was being very fair in the replacement yet not receiving anything really disappointed me. I felt like I was used to give a good review and then after, thrown away after my purchase and review.

My car buying experience was phenomenal. Dozier was my salesman and he was professional, had a great sense of humor, took the time to walk me through the many features of my car, and I was able to get the car I wanted at a the payment I needed. The rest of the staff were just as great and accommodating.
