We brought our car here and were explicitly told we wouldn’t be charged to keep the vehicle on their lot until a mobile repair service could come out to fix the window. But when we arrived to pick up the car, the story completely changed. Suddenly, they refused to release our vehicle unless we paid them extortionate "storage fees."
When we contacted AAA—who ironically lists Arthur's Sunoco as one of their "trusted partners"—AAA reached out to the shop to intervene. Instead of being honest, the shop owner lied straight to AAA's face, claiming he had to move our car inside the shop every single night for safekeeping.
The absolute absurdity of this lie: When we looked around the lot, every single other car was left sitting outside. They fabricated a completely fake justification just to squeeze a few extra bucks out of us.
If these people are willing to lie, scheme, and hold your car hostage over a handful of dollars, you simply cannot trust them to be honest in any of their business dealings. Save your money, save your peace of mind, and steer clear of Arthur's Sunoco.
