I have always liked doing business with local owners and not chain stores.
Started using them for service after my old mechanic sold his business. I have taken several vehicles to them over many years. They have found safety issues that were fixed to keep the cars running properly. The prices are comparable with dealerships and maybe a little less. The quality of work is the same as a dealership and much of the work is warranted. I am a firm believer in having cars serviced according to their maintenance schedules as this saves money in the long term and hopefully keeps you have having unexpected problems. Cars are so expensive to purchase so keeping them in top shape helps them last much longer. I am anticipating the two cars I now have will be my last two cars. Atherton's has been a reliable business for many decades and I imagine they will continue to be around a long time. Especially, if Nate keeps having children. I always refer friends to them who are in need of car maintenance.
