Check engine light

Very happy to have my truck back. Check engine light turned on and I lost towing power. The code I got was for the EGR valve, which according to professionals, there was probably sud buildup making the valve stick. ASR took my truck in, preliminary diagnosis was that I don’t have enough miles to have that issue, and they got to work.
One thing I love about these team is that they will troubleshoot in order to get the correct issue fixed, not just jump into high price parts replacement.
Turns out that it wasn’t the EGR channel at all, it was the manifold pressure sensor, which did have gunk on it and wasn’t working properly. My trucks computer does not differentiate between both sensors. They cleaned out the sensor and the channel, and my trucks computer does is running back like it used to.
I am thankful that Mike and his team troubleshot, and corrected the right issue, and saved me money in the long run. Thanks guys!
