I recently thought my cooling radiator fan was not working so I had it checked out. Good news was it was working properly. My vehicle is a 16 Dodge grand caravan with only 37K miles. Cavey told me that dealers recommend flushing the radiator at 30K miles so since they already had my vehicle I told him to go ahead with the flush and replace the antifreeze. About a little over an hour later, I came across my owners manual and looked up radiator flush which recommended flushing and replacing the antifreeze at 100K miles which I’m 63K miles under. Cavey took responsibility for not checking what the dealer actually recommended which I could have pushed out a few more years.
I would just recommend verifying manufacturer’s recommendations for service mileage.
