If I could rate Carl Biven's Automotive Service and Repair less than 1 star I would. I took my truck in knowing it had a bad head gasket, but instead of just fixing the problem, he highly suggested for me to replace it with a "good low mileage used engine" . I trusted Carl as a professional to fix my work truck. I had to figure out the hard way what his idea of a "Good, Low Mileage engine" was. I ask him how many miles was on my new\used engine, he said that he didn't know. The engine used oil, and smoked. He refused do make it right, even thou I brought it back to him before his (so called) 90 day warrantee was up. So, I took him to court. First thing that happen in court, we had to get a new judge because he already had a another case against him with this judge. In court I found out what his idea of a "Good, Low mileage engine" (241,609 miles). You think that's why it smoked and used oil? I won! wow! The judge awarded me the cost of the engine. The whole ordeal costed us a total of $48,000 because the truck was sold for scrap metal, and I had to buy a new truck for my landscape business. Carl and Nancy Bivens almost cost me my business, just so they could still a few thousand dollars.
