Dishonest General Manager
Went in to buy Nissan Murano found on Duncan Website. Test drive car on Oct. 24th. Went back on Oct. 27 to test drive again. First sales rep was honest, said car came from auction at our first visit. Second sales rep verified that on second visit. GM unaware of this, states it was a local trade in which was the first of several lies. Ask for auto check papers which we received. GM handed us paperwork to show what “repairs” were made to the vehicle after their “inspection” and before it was placed on lot to be sold. GM handed us the “repairs” paperwork with 3 things blacked out with marker and told us they was blacked out because of privacy issues. While on our test drive with papers in hand, we started looking at the “repairs” paperwork and noticed the blacked out items were the vin#, the mileage of vehicle and year of vehicle. Upon further inspection of the blacked out areas, we were able to see that the paperwork didn’t match the vehicle we were driving. Different vin#, different year and mileage. It was a blatant attempt at fraud!! Tried to fraud us into believing the repairs paperwork was for the vehicle we were interested in purchasing and it WAS NOT!! It was for a totally different Murano. Different year, different mileage and different vin#! As I stated, a BLATANT ATTEMPT OF FRAUD!! Also, the vehicle had an open recall on it that I’m sure wouldn’t have been disclosed to us if we hadn’t asked for the autocheck papers. It was on them. I WOULDNT buy ANYTHING from them and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!
