Robert,
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE RESPONSE. Sorry to hear that your were unhappy with your experience at Borker Transmission Service Inc. I do apologize for my oversight of not installing your panels as you requested. My fault no excuse. The total labor price was based on the following. Our staff raised your vehicle on the lift to inspect for a leak. After locating the leak they then connected to your vehicles computer to monitor the transmissions fluid temperature, record and erase the diagnostic codes that were stored in the computers memory. Then checked your transmissions fluid level which was found to be extremely low. They then filled your transmission to the proper level. Keep in mind you have no dipstick. The fluid has to be manually installed with a pump. Our staff then removed the vehicle from the lift and road tested the vehicle to be sure no damage was caused by the low fluid level. We then spoke to you and recieved your approval to complete the repairs. We then drained your engine's cooling system and replaced the transmission cooler. Once again connected to your vehicles computer, filled your transmission and engine's cooling system to the proper level. We then road tested your vehicle and checked to see that the computer did not detect any failures. We then let the vehicle cool. Rechecked your engine's coolant level, brought the transmission fluid temperature to the proper temperature, raised your vehicle on the lift and rechecked the transmission fluid level. As you now know to complete the repairs PROPERLY it takes a little longer then 30 minutes.
After reviewing the price your were charged for the part selling it at $150.00 less would have been well below my cost. And just a note you were also issued a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty on the repair.
