Risky repairs, really took care of me.
A lot of shops wouldn't touch fixing the door locks on a 960 Volvo. Clarks wasn't afraid to hunt down the parts cannibalized from a parts doner, and rebuild my door lock system. I won't say it was all easy. I needed to replace my ignition starter, had bought one a year ago prior from volvo parts OEM supplier, left sitting in trunk. Clark offer to fix that and didn't realize Volvo had two different kinds for my car year, an 8 pin and 9 pin. First didn't work, later realized mistake. Did damage to m alternator. I paid for new 9 pin starter, Clark paid for alternator over and above what I would have asked. I appreciate what they did. I was willing to let them take whatever time they needed to research the problem and they were willing to bill be the hours they actually worked. I admit, I was afraid, because of the the age, actual value of the vehicle, but Clarks really took care of me and my car after all was said and done and I want to say thank you! I would say listen to them if some repairs are worth it, and if not. I my case, it was risky, but really enhanced the value of my older car. So really talk with them, they have friends/ consultants who know specialized cars like mine they can leverage and where able to help me out, others may not be worth it. But I want to emphasize, they really did take care of me on this repair, although long, it was worth it. Best regards, C. Tilley
