I called part places like auto zone, dodge, etc and they all confirmed new oem parts are not written on with a paint pen.
I called several other dodge dealers service departments and they all said the same and confirmed that abs module should not be secured with zip ties.
I tried to work with Don Wood dealership to get the situation resolved. At first the service team member Jordan Doup tried to be helpful and wanted pictures of the part. I sent him the pictures my mechanic provided. Also attached with this message.
Here's where things started getting really odd.
I called back the next day asking if he's looked over the images and what the next steps would be. He told me that he's no longer authorized to speak on this matter it is out of his hands. He didn't refer me to anyone else to contact and nobody there is willing to speak about it.
The BBB won't do anything because the purchase date was so long ago.
I forwarded the information to the Ohio Attorney General.
