Range Rover
Paid $360 for compression test and check why car misfires. Told compression was good and spark plugs and coils are bad by your mechanics. Lies. Me and my teacher at Jtech verified all coils were good, and spark plugs keep fouling. We are going to verify compression tomorrow to see if your mechanics actually verified compression. My teachers don’t believe your mechanics diagnosis and will provide me with a better one. Paperwork says all 8 cylinders are good so I’ll hold you to that. Only owned this Range Rover for 2 months.

Service: Lets put some points clear before you guys can understand this whole situation, this customer bring the car to us for check engine light was on, we pull the supercharger off, we replace knock sensor, putting the car back toghether the oil filter housing gasket fail, we replaced for free the oil filter housing gasket, and of course we did a free oil change, he proceed to pick up the car and the car was idiling in the parking spot for an hour for make sure no leaks shows up, and we make sure is proper oil level, he came and pick up the car he drove the car away to his house, when he got there he didn't know how to read the oil level, he proceeded to put more oil in the car, basically he dobleded the amount of oil the vehicle required, the car holds 8.5 Quarts and he left the service shop, no smoking no rought idle, the car was perfect, and then he called us telling us we messed something up he "found that the vehicle has missing 8quarts of oil" when we tell him how check the oil level properly he found out he overfill the engine with 8quarts of oil and of course he admit it and said "oh my god, i would take care of it" and of course we have all that in a recorded line, couple months later he call us for a misfire on his vehicle, telling us the problem was an injector, and he dont have the tool for fix it, then we tell him, we got to proceed with a diagnosis first because his teacher from Jtech tell him problems with an injector and the vehicle have a misfire in all 8 cylinders, we suggest a compression test for make sure the engine was holding  a good compression for a matterfact he put 8 extra quarts of oil in the engine could been that the main issue, we call him and explain him this situation he understand and was agreed with the compression test, during the compression test we got to remove one of the A/C lines because the line runs right over the cylinder our tester dont fit in there with out bending the lines we did not risk to damage in them, every cylinder check out good, we found every cylinder have good compression, but the misfire was causing for other factors that he declined to fix it  he said " i can fix it by myself" we told him who he can do it, what brands use, who sells it, also he call us all the time, even after hours for us tell him what he needs to do when his teachers was checking the truck because aparently he is study in J Tech to be a mechanic and he said he was messing with the truck before and all that.
The condition of the vehicle was bad, 8 cylinders missing, a straight pipe exhaust, and the previous condition of the oil issue that he did by himself.
The technician who works in your car has 15+ years of experience, so basically, you are against a shop where all the mechanics together have 50+ years of work experience in European automobiles.
If you like to get professional work in your Land Rover, we would be happy to help, because those vehicles are complicated to work on, but don't bring a truck to a specialized shop where we work those vehicles all the time, and complaint for everything and leave bad reviews because WE DONT GIVE YOU THE REPAIR FOR FREE.
Like every customer, you have to pay, and Driveline LLC offers you a lifetime discount for 25% in parts and labor for every repair you need in your vehicle.
I hope you found the success that you deserve in your career as a mechanic.
Best Regards
