I purchased a vehicle that had severe issues immediately, making it undriveable the day I got it home. On top of that, I was promised the car had an automatic starter would be activated through the app once I bought the car — that turned out to be completely false.
The day after I purchased the vehicle, my salesman stopped responding to texts, calls, and emails (still nothing, after months of trying). I received zero communication. I had to physically go back to the dealership just to get anyone to acknowledge the situation.
When the car finally went to their mechanic, the experience got worse. The mechanic was at least responsive, but complained about how expensive the repairs were and talked about trying a series of cheap, temporary fixes just to send me home — even admitting they didn’t think those fixes would work. I had the car in and out of the shop for the same problem at least 5 times without a fix.
One time when I went in, I found my salesperson and asked why he hadn’t responded for months. He said he was busy out having fun and partying because he doesn’t have kids and has freedom, so he didn't get to return my call. He told me he would escalate to the owner... this happened twice and I continued to get no response and nothing from the owner
For the first six months of ownership, my car was in the shop about half the time. I finally got in touch with the owner on my own and brought up the false promises about features. He just said everything was my fault and I should have known. He eventually offered to add the automatic starter, only if I paid half. Then instead of doing that, he completely stopped responding to my emails, texts, and calls, just like everyone else there
Now I’m left with a car that I was unable to drive for months, that I’ve had to pour more money into after purchase, and had to pay for uber rides back and forth to their shop to get my car for repairs that didn't work.
