There are a few things that have bothered me after my purchase with Elco. 1- Less than 15 hours and 45 miles after buying the car, the Dynamic Stability Control and break light come on and continue to go on and off. I find it hard to believe this was a new issue after I acquired the car. 2-I made an appointment to bring it in which I did have to change the 1st time. I tried to make another one but did not get a confirmation. I emailed again and still did not get a reply so I just gave up on it. I figured it did not have a warranty anyways so I might as well take it to a BMW specialist. 3- I received a few emails to do a survey so I did one. I left a midrange review, nothing great but nothing bad. I did bring up the above on the review though. I would have thought a business that talks about priding themselves on excellent customer service would have at least acknowledged my concern but did not. 4- Last, and the reason that I am I am contacting the BBB is the financing. By profession I am a broker and work for a company that has a bank side. My credit score WAS 820. The only reason I financed with the dealership was 1, I did not want to bother our loan guy on such a short notice, and 2 the loan will be paid off in less than 2 months. That is the only reason I accepted a terrible rate. Today I went to pay off the 3k I put down with my credit card. To my surprise my credit score dropped by 30 points. When I looked for a reason I found it was due to the finance person sending request to a bunch of banks. If I would have known this, I would have just got the financing done myself. My credit score is very important to me. 1-3 do disappoint me, but messing with my credit score makes me need to take action.
