Lack of knowledge of sales people, and managers
just quickly I purchased a car on December 14, 2022 and 10 weeks later still getting the run around purchased a 2019 certified pre-owned Genesis G 80 after traveling to the dealership twice from Long Island Only want what I was told I was getting.with my certified preowned vehicle, not a run around and all of the bull they promise you and then ignore you and hope you go away

I purchased my G70 back in 2020 from Denville Genesis and was very happy. I have been getting my car serviced there for the last two years and have to say the service has been really great, I have been dealing with Courtney Best over the last few months and she has been excellent. I’m not sure if this will reach her, but I wanted to express my thanks for making the service process extremely efficient! She is a super nice person as well. I picked up the car and a different person rang up the transaction, she was great as well! Thank you again!

I purchased my G70 back in 2020 from Denville Genesis and was very happy. I have been getting my car serviced there for the last two years and have to say the service has been really great, I have been dealing with Courtney Best over the last few months and she has been excellent. The experience was fine. I had to wait about 6 weeks for a loaner after rescheduling oil change & recall, but it wasn’t urgent. The day after getting oil change, I get an email for a 10% discount on this service & it expires waaaayyy before needing service again. Oh brother! I know its not much but the day after?!!?

Booked a service for routine maintenance a few weeks ago for my first check-up on a GV80. i get texts, emails, and notifications they will deliver a loaner to me. I received at least three notifications. So, no show, no call, no appointment, and then they tell me they do not "participate" in the warranty program and to ignore what the genesis website says. So now your new assignment as a buyer is to go find a dealer that will call you back, and will do the maintenance. Yes you are getting a great vehicle at a great price here, but the service and the communication has nothing to do with the contract on a new car. Now you just find out why you pay less for the car. Having said that the confirmations are all in place, everything but the service itself .

Sloppy mechanic
Although check-in was efficient unfortunately the quality of repair needs improvement. Mechanic neglected to check his instructions regarding tire replacement and car required being taken back into the shop to correct incomplete work.

Service fine - wait ridiculous
Pandemic considerations aside. The wait for a service appointment is unacceptable. The dealership that I used previously disappeared in the dead of night leaving Denville as the closest option. While the car has been great the dealer is burdened by a huge volume of Hyundai service. Genesis owners, once the valet period is over, must contend with a typical Hyundai dealer's service department. The people within are fine but the wait is absurd. At the end of my visit I was asked to make an appointment for my next service in order to have a booked appointment in the system. I probably will do so to prevent this from happening again. I can't imagine the scenario if the car actually needed repair.

We had to wait a couple of weeks for the service appointment because we required a loaner vehicle. It was a simple routine 1st service so the wait was no issue. We have nothing but good things to say about our GV80 and the service we have received so far.

Should NOT be a Genesis Brand Dealership.
let's just say I got a message from my G70 that I am due for service that was in early February. it is June 16th now and I have a appointment for mid July. The first appointment a hour late I called your dealership and asked where is the loaner car they said they had no car to give me I said I don't need a car just pick it up and bring it back when your done. They refused my offer. I called you dealership and spoke to someone who set up a new appointment and said because you live so close we will pick it up and bring right back so a few days later here comes a car with 2 people in it one guy gets out and the other guy drives away. So I ask the guy where is my loaner car he says there isn't any. Now I got another wait and see. Over 5 months to get a oil change. How stupid is it to have one loaner car for a brand that is supposed to be looked at as a upscale brand. I'm finished with your dealership. The first of 4 cars in my family is due back in about a month she will not be leasing with you. I have less than a year I will not lease again with you. Then comes the other 2.

Genesis of Denville is just terrific!! They are honest and have taken wonderful care of our G80. I have never felt like I have been “upsold” on service issues, unlike other dealerships for other brands in the area.

Best experience at a dealership
Carlos my Service Writer was absolutely professional and made my job super easy. Brock came to pick up my car and bringing me a loaner. Shawn the technician did an amazing job and my brakes feel amazing again.
