Unresolved Tag Issue - Horrible Follow Up
Do not buy from Genesis of Fort Myers! Purchased my car 6 months ago. Went to renew my registration and could not due to an error on the dealerships end. It is showing “still in process on their end” I began calling and emailing on December 8th to continually be told it has been escalated to the GM’s desk, someone will be calling me. It is now January 12th and my registration will expire on January 23rd. Over a month of calls and emails and this has not been resolved and no calls have been made to me. The Tax Collectors Office has told me they still have not resolved the issue and there’s nothing they can do, the dealership needs to correct this. To spend the amount you do on a Genesis, please go to a different dealership. This one has no business having this Franchise and it should be taken away!!! Today I am forced to go in there and this should not happen!!! As the former office manager of this actual franchise prior to it being sold, I’m shocked that any manager, GM, Controller would allow anyone’s registration to sit in the system with red flags unresolved! This is unheard of! They are obviously allowing a Tag and Title Clerk to handle this position that is not qualified!!
