Deceptive Service Department
Horrible service department. Told me Costco Michelin tires are inferior to Toyota tires and that they actually learned that in a workshop with a Toyota representative. I have a close friend who works at Costco and we went to talk to the tire department, the guy said emphatically this was untrue. Called both Costco and Michelin corporate offices and was told the same thing. Germain also claims I needed new front and rear brakes, claims they measured 4mm and that my brake pads could go from 7mm (which they measured in 2018) to 4mm (which they measured in 2019) in the span of one year and 8,000 miles travel on city streets. Funny, I took the car in to another mechanic to get the rear brakes Germain said I needed and they measured 7mm?!?!?! I was told I DIDN'T need rear brakes. Thank goodness this was an honest mechanic. STAY AWAY FROM GERMAIN.
