Great Experience All Around

Between the dealer and a local Audi/VW specialist, German Auto Repair in Mason seemed to have the most in-depth and fair assessment of what my vehicle needed.

Chris and Dietmar were both very friendly and knowledgeable about common issues with my particular generation and model Audi. They were also very helpful in explaining to me which services could be completed in conjunction with other repairs to minimize additional labor costs (without it coming across like a sales pitch), while addressing all the issues with my water pump, PCV system, piston skirt/cylinder scoring inspection, and other components.

The total cost came out to be very competitive, with the quality of work speaking for itself in the amount of diligence that went into the inspection, and the performance of my vehicle — which was ready within roughly 30 hours of the initial assessment.

Prices for all parts were very reasonable, and they seem to have a great relationship with dealers across the region to source OEM parts/products. After Chris noticed some corrosion on a hose during the water pump replacement, Dietmar went out of his way to retrieve a replacement part in rush hour traffic, which allowed me to have my car back without waiting an additional day. That same part was also excluded from the final invoice.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the level of attention and care that went into their work. I plan to return for repair services as needed, and will be having my regular maintenance done through them going forward.
