1. They will promise you the world, and not deliver on any of it. This could be expected with a private sale or a small car lot, but this shouldn’t be standard practice at a dealership.
2. They tried to charge a $1900 reconditioning fee, that is supposed to cover oil change, detailing, replacing tires, full inspection, looking over/fixing scratches and dents, etc. and the only thing that was maybe done, was the oil change. I can’t even prove if they did the oil change or not, but they certainly didn’t detail it, fix dents (that were obvious when I received the car), replace the tires, or really anything at all that is supposed to make the car “customer ready”.
3. They did not disclose a single thing that was wrong with the car before the sale, since I was an out of state buyer, and expected honesty and transparency. It showed up with a dirty interior, a dent on the door trim, crease on the door, loose rear view mirror, and really bubbled back window tint. This ended up costing me $1500+ out of pocket to resolve.
4. The car showed up from the shipper five days late!!! (third party delivery that I paid $1500 for, and the dealership chose the company). Horrible communication, and choice of shipper.
5. The car arrived without any registration. No plates, no temporary tag, no permit in the window, and no documentation whatsoever. The car was not legal to drive when it showed up. It was actually insane. It took me three and a half hours to get them to finally send me some information that I could print, to make it half way legal to drive. It took another three days for them to send me the temporary plates.
6. I called and texted to complain to the salesman and manager for the horrible experience, as well as not receiving a second key (only 20k miles on the car, it should have two), and they said they would help me with the dents etc. if I send them receipts. I sent them proof, they dodged my calls and texts for a week before I was finally able to get another sales manager to tell me they will not be helping me any further.
I was going to let this go, if they were willing to help out and admit they were lacking integrity and professionalism. I am here writing this review because they did not help, and I want other people to have the chance to avoid this train wreck of a transaction.
