Hector's Garage does not do business in Good Faith as it is required by Law. But, more importantly, I have always been a person who values your word, and Hector's word is worthless. Initially, we took our vehicle in because of transmission problems and he quoted us a price. We paid him in advance in good faith. It turned out the transmission was not the issue, just minor stuff needed to be adjusted which included a new battery. He ended up owing us money. After several weeks of him being wishy-washy, and us trying to get the difference back, he wrote us a check, which bounced. We asked him jokingly if this was made of rubber when he gave it to us. He gave us his word it was good. He is a thief and can not be trusted. I am working with the District Attorney to recoup the money and have all the evidence of our deposits, the invoice, bounced check and letter from the bank. It is my understanding there are other claims against this business and person. I recommend you go else where. I can not give no stars but that is what they deserve.
