My Rheem water heater went out and began leaking on a Saturday (4/11). Homegard immediately called their contractor who came out on Sunday to evaluate the water heater for a repair or replacement. The contractor showed up with a new AO Smith water heater and wanted to install it right away. I had questions about upgrades and warranty comparisons but Homegard was closed. The contractors suggested I call Homegard to get my questions answered.

Contractor scheduled for Wednesday (4/15) morning without talking to me. I have to work and cannot keep the appointment.

Homegard says their contractor can't get me in until next Monday (4/20). Then I received a text from the contractor scheduling me for Monday (4/20). I have to work and cannot keep the appointment.

At this point, Homegard is just screwing with me. This is my first and only claim and I have no input in the contractor, the water heater brand, or the date of installation/replacement.
