Hello Craig. I understand your frustration. It is never fun when your car fails inspection. However state Inspection is always pass or fail. Your car did pass emissions and you will see we did put on the new sticker for that. It failed inspection so we only charged you for the inspection, no sticker fee. When a car fails the mechanic has to make notes of all the items and the service advisor has to make estimates to repair so it is auctually more work. However we do not charge any more. Your bill included tax and emissions sticker and fees and both inspections for $67.20.
Keep in mind if we do the repairs needed in our shop we do not charge to re-inspect the car. Also you will see on your receipt that their is a 10% off labor coupon that you can use. Give me a call if you would like to schedule the repairs needed and finish the inspection. Take care!
Hi Robin, Sorry your car needs a couple things for inspection. I wish I could change that. Unfortunately it did fail inspection. Fortunately we found that out before your inspection ran out. We do not charge for the second inspection if you have the repairs completed in our shop. If we can help you get the car inspected let us know and I will not charge you twice. Take Care! ---SAL
