"Great product and service"
I purchased my 2009 Hyundai Sonata as a new car in 2009 and took advantage of their Maintenance for Life plan. I've had it serviced there every 5000 miles, usually without additional cost. The few exceptions were certain milestones where parts needed to be replaced. They never tried to gouge me with unnecessary services. I trust them implicitly.

The service was quick and exactly on time. The car was washed as requested. The tires were rotated, but 3 of the valve stem caps were left off so I will return and have them replaced.

This was my usual experience with Hyundai. It took a little longer than before but I had a late appointment but usually they get me out in about 45 minutes.

Doug Smock, my service representative, is always professional and is always true to his word as to the extent of service needed or how long it will require. Dropping off my 2017 Santa Fe for maintenance and a recall ended up to be an easy and pleasurable experience

Usually the thought of having to give up the car for a day and having to go to the dealership can be unpleasant but this was the opposite my service advisor went out of her way to take care of everything

"Good service, however..."
My service advisor, Douglas, does a great job and I highly recommend him. My issue, however, is with the other parts of the dealership. When we purchased the vehicle, we bought (were sold) what we were told was the premium extended warranty. We were told that it covered absolutely everything, bumper to bumper, except for "normal" wear and tear. This meant it did not cover things like tires, breaks, light bulbs, normal wear on the interior upholstery and carpets. We had an issue with one of the visors, and were told it was not covered. Nobody could explain why, just that the warranty only covers those things that are covered and not the things not covered. (Didn't make sense to me either). So, I called the dealership and first spoke with the new car sales manager, who had no further explanation but offered to split the cost, meaning they only made a little bit of money. I then spoke with the general manager. He started off on the offensive, not even wanting to listen to my point. He finally said "If you are not happy with the way we are servicing this vehicle, why don't you just trade it in on a new car so you don't have to worry about things breaking." We own two Hyundai's, which may be the last two we will own.
