The other one star reviews here are pretty spot on with what I experienced. They botched my vehicle repair and then they were so rude and toxic about it that I was afraid to let them have the vehicle again; a very profitable but unethical business practice. They kept $1000 of my families money without having earned it so we wont be having Christmas this year. Sure, they can be very personable if everything goes smoothly but if something goes wrong or if you question them, it gets ugly fast. I hope to keep this from happening to others.

Job seam to be done good but customer service terrible
The work was done in my time frame which ment alot to me but I originally brought it in for a oil pan replace but needed a lot more downso I couldn't afford to do everything they recommended but did the necessary things it ending me another $1000 so $2000 in all they recommended me to have then clean my battery post for $65 I kindly ask Javier if they would do it for free since I just spent $2000 and still need another $2000 in repairs this job would of took them maybe 10 min top and to add a spray about $5 but they didn't do that for me they were in a hurry to get there money when I complain about it they said bring it in when you have the other repairs about another $2000 and we will do it for free my point was you don't have the time to do something for me that small after I spent $2000 then to tell me when I come end and do another $2000 so $4000 and will do that small favor Now let make it clear I think they did a good job on the repairs but a lousy little job clean my battery post and my car was there open hood I ask them if they would do it when they started the repairs will not go back to a place that didn't appreciate my service

About a year ago, my car started stalling out at stop lights whenever the AC was on. I've brought the car to John's Auto Pros I believe it's five times now over the past year. One time, they said they were able to replicate the problem, but most of the time they don't seem to be able to. I have a hard time understanding that. When they look at it, it seems to work for a few weeks or even a couple of months, and then it starts happening again. It's frightening being at a stoplight and having the care die. Thankfully, it seems to restart each time so far. But I won't be able to use the AC, which is horrible in this hot weather. Now, Javier, their manager, is telling me he doesn't have time to look at it again and is sending me somewhere else. I'm very disappointed that they don't seem to be standing up to the guarantee they have on their work. I expected better.
I can recommend them for regular service, but not for anything unusual or difficult.
I’ve been to John’s Auto Pros twice and both times, they’ve always had amazing customer service and super informative when describing what’s wrong with my vehicle. They print out their recommendations and they even refer you to other places in the area. Javier is always smiling and welcoming (I was surprised he remembered me from the last time I came almost a year ago). I forgot the female’s name that checked me out today, but she’s so sweet. She took me home and that three minute ride was very enjoyable, we talked about food (one of my favorite subjects haha). I HIGHLY recommend this place, not because of the customer service or military discount, but because you don’t have to worry about your car after they service it. I’m from South Carolina and this establishment is like a breath of southern hospitality. Thank you John’s Auto Pros!!
