I brought my van in for an inspection and traction control light being on. Granted I needed a couple of things but I'm thinking someone is playing games with me. I had all new brakes, plugs wires, co2 sensors and more. All for $2000.00. One day back the same light turns on and I take it back the next time I am home. This time the traction control issue is the sensors on the catalytic convertor and there goes another $450.00. I pick up the van and ten minutes later the same problem shows up on my dash. Something tells me that this time they will tell me I need a new radio or possibly an oil change. There is absolutely no correlation between traction control and a catalytic converter. I have talked to many seasoned auto mechanics and read numerous articles on the web. No one no where offers a similarity of the two. Just saying

Hi Terry. I wanted to clarify the repairs, you brought your vehicle in on September 29th for NYSI and CEL. The vehicle had multiple misfiring codes, brakes were all paper thin, u-joint in the rear was shot. In order to take care of the misfire we replaced the plugs, wires and one coil, repaired a vacuum line that was broken and replaced rear u joint and brakes. There was no fault with any of the tire pressure sensors. Just this past Friday you returned on November 6th because the Check Engine Light Returned.  The code was completely different, the oxygen sensors had failed, no relevance to any repairs made in September.  We didn't charge you for any diagnostic, just labor to replace sensors.  Any other concerns please call us we are always close by!

K&C Auto Service is the best in the business. They are rated at the top of most insurance companies approved service dealers. Their staff is knowledgeable, professional, curteous, and friendly.The work is always done as quoted and it is always 5 star. I would never trust my auto to anyone else.
