It started with a red oil light but ended almost $5,000 and 1 misdiagnosis later. At last, the car is running ok. The first time I picked up the car (after $1700), the red oil light came on, within 10 minutes! The reason the car was in the shop was the red oil warning light. The service advisor told me to drive the car back where it died on the railroad tracks in front of their shop. After another diagnosis, the problem was discovered. Hallelujah. So, after 15 days in the shop and many false promises, I got my car back.
My opinion: folks that mean well but are clueless in teamwork and accountability. Why did they have to diagnose my car twice? One diagnosis wasn’t enough? I was charged $2700 for what they missed on the initial diagnosis!!
The owner has responded personally and I do greatly appreciate that but sometimes you have to sacrifice $$ to do the right thing, you chose no to. I do appreciate the three $9.00 car wash cards!
