Pleasant, friendly, timely, unable however to complete anything
Was notified to come in for an oil change and exhaust clamp replacement. Shop did not have oil nor exhaust clamp.
Nice guys though, and I'll continue to give them a shot at helping to keep my machine roadworthy.
It's very understandable that not all supplies at any small business could be feasibly kept always in stock. Some previous visits have been similarly incomplete. I wish they could have asked me to make the appointment after they had been able to stock my supplies, with some of the requisite trust in a repeat customer that the appointment would be kept. (If a bit of surplus engine oil on their shelves is a problem for them, then there might be a broader issue they could address.)
I really like them, they're nice guys. I'm conflicted by my need (perhaps excessive) to be honest without being a jerk. Sorry for any failure with either.
