LBR installed a remanufactured transmission in my Sprinter 8 months ago. Unfortunately, that transmission failed rather dramatically when I was quite a distance from home--which can happen rarely; it's a mechanical device. When I phoned them, they had only one question--"How soon can you get it to us?" No hesitation at all. They worked with the remanufacturer, and I didn't pay a penny for the warranty work--with LBR advocating for me the whole way. Their entire motive and drive was to make sure I was taken care of, no matter what.
I have been a customer of LBR for 16 years. I am pretty mechanically inclined myself, but when my vehicles need work that I can't do, LBR is where I take them. They are always fair and honest, their service rates are fair and competitive (much less than at the dealerships), and they have a full complement of up-to-date diagnostic equipment. When I've talked directly with their technicians, they always tell me "this is the best shop I've ever worked at!"
Mike (the owner) as well as Ken and Josh (service advisors) are top notch as well. They're friendly, straightforward, won't pull the wool over your eyes, and they provide sound recommendations. This is a crew I can trust, and they've earned my trust over the past 16 years.
It's not that I don't take my vehicles anywhere else, I just *won't*!
