I brought my car in to have the air conditioning repaired. When I got home, I noticed a large black flap dangling down onto the front passenger side that had not been reinstalled properly after the repair. A day or so later, I opened the glove box and it fell onto the passenger floor, also not properly reinstalled after the repair. I tried to place the glove box back into place, but could not get it to work properly. I called Mission Hills Automotive and spoke with Evan who, instead of apologizing for the problem, implied it happened independent of their repair work (even though their repair work involved removing my glove box). I asked if I could bring in my car to have it fixed. He said yes but they would determine if it was something they did, again not accepting responsibility. I asked if I could make an appointment where they could fix it while I waited because I needed my car for work. He refused my request saying that's not how they work. At that point I told him I didn't feel comfortable being a customer any longer. As a customer who just spent $1,235 at his shop, I wanted him to say, "Sorry for the inconvenience, bring your car in and we'll get it fixed for you."

Tom, you say we need to take responsibility for the issue, which is most likely the case, but we need to see the vehicle to determine what happened and order any parts needed to make it right. We ask that you bring the Jeep back for us to look at it. Due to our high volume and small lot we need to schedule you in. You can set up a time online or call the shop. We have been here for 18 years by taking care of our customers. Rest assured we will take care of this as well.
