I brought my car to Midas today because it was really running bad. They told me what needed to be done to fix the problem. They quickly ordered the parts. They updated me that the parts were on their way. I left and they even called me to let me know when my was being pulled in to be serviced. My experience with the Murfreesboro Pike location is always excellent customer service and repairs are right on. I highly recommend this location.

They dont know how to fix car I swear
Never put your car here at Midas murfreesboro pike. They lie so much ! Mid June put the car I pay upront 1400 they said It will fix 2 to 3 days they fix it 9 days and then after 2days it broke again white smoke coming . Put it back there thay disnt say nothing about the price I wait Til August 9 they ask me again a thousand dollars Thay always have alibi when I call them everyday to check my car its been 2 mos my car to be done.! Dont recommend or waste your monay here

MAF Sensor
My 80 year old father went to Midas bc I had recommend it. First of all last month in Feb. he had oil changed and someone forgot to tighten filter which cause air to get in engine. Bill the manager promised to take care of next oil change. We'll 3/28/2023 his sensor light came on and he took car back to them. They cleaned it and charged him 89 dollars for labor. On his receipt it said cleaned and replaced. They cleaned it and of course they had to put it back in place. The manager wasn't there to speak on this. So I will let it go but trust is an issue.

Bad customer service but excellent mechanic
I went to the Midas # 3132 at 2612 Murfreesboro to determine why my brake light stayed on. Sam stated my car needed calipers and brake line hoses for $1,065.00 which I authorized. The mechanic who worked on my car did excellent work. When time to pay, Steven Towers stated my bill was $1,427.70. I was shocked! How did my bill go from one price to another without my knowledge or authorization? Steven said it was the extra parts and tax. What extra parts I asked. I was not told of any extra parts being put on my car without my authorization. I do not like to be treated like this and will not return to this store. I have been going to another company since 1989 and if my car needs extra parts, they will tell you what parts are needed and the price. I do not like the way Steven Towers treated me by not telling me more parts were needed on my car and the amount of these parts. The other company I have used since 1989 do not treat their customers the way he did. I am sure I am not the only customer he has treated this way. This is bad customer service for the company. Midas needs to correct this problem as soon as possible!

Horrible repair, worse customer service
Do not use the Midas at 2612 Murfreesboro Pike. They attempted to replace the catalytic converter on my 2014 Jeep and cross threaded the bolts to the head. When this was brought to their attention, they were supposed to send the head out to be machined but instead bored out the bolt holes and tried to reattach the catalytic converter with non-manufacturer parts. The part does not fit correctly, the exhaust is leaking and the head needs to be replaced.. They promised on multiple occasions that they would stand behind their work but they have failed to do so. They have done nearly $5000 in damage, the vehicle is unsafe for operation and they don’t care. Take your business elsewhere!

Never Again
This was my first experience going to Midas for car trouble & it will be my last. I arrived at this location at 10:30am on Friday knowing I at least needed an oil change, if not more, after my car cut off in their parking lot. The front desk rep, Lorraine, advised I would need more than an oil change as the engine cut off and suggested I get a diagnostic ran on my vehicle which I agreed. I left my vehicle there and went back home for three hours w/o any updates from Midas. I called Midas at 1:45pm & Lorraine advised she would call me back w/ an update after not finding whomever was supposed to be looking at my vehicle. After another hour passed w/ no update, I drove back to Midas and arrived at 3:00pm to see that the oil was being changed at that time. Lori advised that too much oil was put into the car, which I knew, and then stated I would need to drive the car before they ran diagnostic. Again, the car originally cut off when I first arrived at Midas at 10:30am. A diagnostic was needed from the start. Yet, I cranked my car & while it ran for 45 seconds, the engine shut back off. I went back inside the store & asked they complete a diagnostic before attempt to leave w/ the car. I left at 3:30pm that same Friday assuming they would be able to complete the diagnostic same day as there were two empty garage openings. I called at 5:30pm for an update & Lorraine advised they weren’t able to perform the diagnostic because they were so busy, which was a lie. She knew I was perturbed about the situation after they had my car since 10:30am that day and could not perform a simple oil change & diagnostic test in a 7-hour time frame. She smartly stated I could come pick my car up from Midas if there was an issue. I advised I would not pick up the car until Saturday after the diagnostic was complete. I did not call Midas anymore after Friday just to see if their customer service was as piss poor as I thought it was & ensure I was not over reacting. Saturday came, no one from Midas called me w/ an update. They are closed on Sunday. Monday came, no on from Midas called me w/ an update. Today, Tuesday 4/13/21 at 7:30am, I arrived at Midas w/ AAA to tow my vehicle back home. Upon arrival I met Lorraine again at the front counter and asked if a diagnostic was ran on the vehicle. I’ve had plenty of diagnostic test ran on vehicles before and know what information a proper diagnostic test provides on your vehicle. She typed up a simple statement stating my engine is ruined because it was overfilled with oil, in my face, just so she could print out and present something to me. She did not charge me anything because truth be told, she knows they did not perform an actual diagnostic out of spite after I told her their performance this past Friday was unacceptable. Upon arriving home, I noticed a dent in my trunk area which appears as if someone were trying to break into my trunk. Since Friday, my car has sat in Midas parking lot unattended instead of being stored in a garage leaving it open for anyone to break into. I took it upon myself to call corporate on Monday after not hearing from this Midas store, but at this point I will take this as far as it needs to go for proper customer service to be given. I do not recommend this store to anyone, hell Midas period. The only reason I went here is because I found a cheap Groupon coupon for an oil change to begin with. Do not go to this location if you are used to dealing with people who care about their customers and always want to provide exceptional service.

Wrong oil type
This is the second time Midas put the wrong oil in my 2005 Pontiac G6, 3.5L. A simple google search will tell you or look at the oil cap ! It's right on there -- 5W30. Yet, the receipt says -- just like last time -- 5W20. This is not a huge deal, it's just annoying. Two things I don't feel I should need to mention at an oil change establishment is the type of oil or the oil filter size. I think Midas should call me, arrange for me to come down with no wait and replace the oil with the proper type -- 5W30 !!!
