Verified CustomerUnfortunately we see stripped lug nuts and studs often, espcially in Subaru's. We hand torque lug nuts, we do not use an impact gun to secure lug nuts. Very sorry for your opinion and experience. We have windows to our shop and you are always welcome to come out and see what we are referring to. I could post 1000 pictures of messed up lug nuts and studs, Ford and Dodge use capped lug nuts and Subaru studs constantly get stripped. Imagine a screw going in and out, eventually the whole will get worn and stripped. This is when automotive shops get a bad name. And lastly here at Nello, if we would have stripped your lug nut, WE WOULD have covered it. Our techs always admit if a mistake is made. We are honest and have no reason to blame the customer.
