Used the dealer for maintenance & repair of our F250 several times. Over the years the service & quality of work has decreased dramatically. Our latest experience was with Rob one of the service reps.
We turned in our truck to find a radiator leak, we were told we need to replace the radiator because it had holes. No problem, that an oil change & 3k and later we have our truck back. Noticed a oil leak, brought it back. Turned out the tech never completely tightened the drain plug. Not a deal breaker mistakes happen. What sent flags up is that now they say a radiator gasket is going bad and we need to take the engine apart to find it. (The same work we just had done) . 100% questionable we took it for a second opinion, turns out the gasket was fine, and the leak was coming from the secondary radiator (which is attached to the radiator we replaced). Now we are curious if the radiator even needed to be replaced since the same leak still persists.
I would advise anyone thinking of using north county ford service depart to go somewhere else and save $$$$ and the dishonesty of the service reps. It’s a shame what the place has become.
