Used to be a loyal customer.
The place has gone downhill. Most recently I was towed to their location and quoted an astronomical amount for repair. I was told that the entire shifting mechanism would have to be replaced. I went to a competitor and a quick repair was made for under $30. During the temporary repair by Ocean Street auto, they removed a small access panel and didntreplace it. I noticed when o got home and called; they denied it. (??!) I have since called four times. They pretend to be willing to replace the part they lost but have not done so. All assurances are later “not remembered.”

It’s a shame. They used to be trustworthy. At this point they seem to be a risk at best.

Long term customer
I have been going to OCA for over 10 years. They have great customer service and often don't charge me if the repair is small but necessary. Lately though, I have been concerned about their brake work. I had brakes replaced in both cars and it doesn't feel right and the cars are both squeaking/grinding still when I push on the brakes. This has been frustrating because I don't have a lot of time to keep going back and forth to the shop.

He told the representative what he needed and that he had the parts, so they offered to take him in if the customer they had scheduled for 9:30 am did not show up. He stopped back at about 09:35 am and they took him in right away. He said it was perfect.
