After 20 months and $59,400 we expected our 66 Impala that had an excellent interior, above average body, driven frequently, to now be a beautiful, mechanically safe and sound vehicle. Upon delivery the car had 2 fuel, 2 oil, a large antifreeze, 2 transmission leaks. Poorly tuned motor that stalled then surges. The whole body paint job didn't match; had at least 4 hand painted coverup spots. A headlight to be replaced was paid for and not done. New exhaust system rattles when motor is torqued.
Taking a test drive with our professional used car analyst was rejected vehemently by Mr. Puttmann and only by our pleading and encouragement by his wife did he consent to take the test drive with my wife and myself.
