I was visiting NY when I needed emergency dental work done. I went to their office on a Saturday. I was the only emergency on stand by that day. There were a lot of appointments so it took all day to get the work done. The dentist did do an excellent job because a few days later my mouth felt fine.
The problem is with the billing. The work was done about three months ago and my insurance company never got the proper submission for the claim and I am still waiting. I called them last week and the person that answered gave me a really hard time and even tried to tell me that I did not have a root canal there plus a few other (incorrect) things. I called today and they told me that they would resubmit the claim/s. The root can was $1800.00 plus it was $100.00 for the initial appointment.
