My initial encounter with their service I was pleased then after having to bring it back due to lack of paying attention started me on my journey first my a/c went out an need to be fixed an upon inspection I was told it wasn’t the radiator but a hose…..upon changing the hose they didn’t replace the hoses with the new clamps that came with the hoses which caused me to have to be towed back in the middle of my weekend which I did not enjoy and had to wait until Monday to get a diagnosis which came back that it was my radiator which cracked from whomever put the truck back together an didn’t attach the clamps to the hoses properly an that’s how my radiator messed up but was told it was my fault when I pointed out the initial inspection said different they contacted my warranty company an then added the radiator only cause the radiator was covered by my warranty company due to the incomplete job by not replacing the clamps in the first place eventually i was told the clamps were replaced and was good to go…..ok so that ment the job was closed out an that ticket with my warranty company should’ve had a new separate claim for the radiator but it was added to the existing original claim so they didn’t have to pay for their mistake….a few weeks later my truck started to overheat again an I called my warranty company an explained the situation an they said I didn’t have to go back to them due to lack of good service on inspection at the new place I took my truck to Meineke in Riverside they said the hoses on my truck still didn’t have clamps to keep them from coming a loose especially since I have a HEMI and the air pressure would cause what happend before to happen again Meineke fixed the issue I took the invoice an at first they weren’t going to reimburse me due to their mechanics work but ended up paying it…..ok so problem fixed right? NOPE when I had my water pump replaced I was told I needed my front brakes done as well so I did them an come to find out that the brake brackets on both front brakes had fell off an that’s what was causing my truck to shake when it stopped and the squeaking when I took it to another mechanic he said it’s a surprise that I didn’t crash or worse I travel with my young children granddaughter wife and myself throughout these California freeways and to find out I wasn’t safely taken care of is saddening I brought it to their attention with not pictures but with VIDEO of the work not done properly not once was I asked was I ok or if my family was ok but I was told “I’ll give you $20 to replace the brackets” no reimbursement of having to pay someone else to fix what should have taken care of in the first place…it’s really disheartening now that I’m being told to hold on to see if their warranty company is going to pay for them cause they don’t feel it’s their fault or problem because I chose someone else I trust with my kids and family lives in their hands so financially they don’t want to be responsible….what happened to making sure the customer is taken care of I get people get busy but I feel super brushed off an won’t tolerate it any longer…….
