A Lucky Find!
I pulled into Milwaukee with a stuck front caliper and smoke billowing from the wheel. Someone local recommended Sticklers. With few options, I left the car with them and returned home to Madison. The car was diagnosed within a day and fixed in just a day or two more. They could have said it needed all new brakes and rotors, and maybe even bearings. How would I know 80 miles away? Instead, they replaced the one caliper and were surprised to find that the rotor looked good and even the brake pad still had plenty of life. They felt comfortable to send me on my way and said I had 80 miles to decide for myself if everything felt OK and whether I needed further service once I got home. The old LR3 drove well and felt great. Mike and his team were awesome! I'm happy that my daughter, who just moved to Wauwatosa, now has an auto shop she can count on.
