I had my Hyundai in for service 3 x's in the 5 1/2 months I had it, due to the check engine light coming on. The car was misfiring. We are hoping the most recent repair does the trick-we will see. The personnel here are very friendly and kept me informed, etc. My beef is not with the service dept. it is with Hyundai in general. I would like a different vehicle, as this one seems like a lemon, however, they are telling me the value of my car went from 35,000 retail on 5/30/17 to 5 1/2 months later being only offered 25,000 on a trade!!!! Lost Ten grand in 5 1/2 months. WOW. I am hoping for a better deal, or some satisfaction for all the trouble and time this one has cost me. That being said, once again, the personnel are very nice and they are trying to fix the problem. I think the check engine light is a generic light and it could have been a multitude of problems.

At this point, I would never buy another Hyundai. I have had it in for repairs with engine light 3 X's. I feel this vehicle is tainted and would like an even trade-this is not happening. I would have to lose on a trade and then pay more money to get another one. Not going to lose more money when I have already suffered the loss of several thousand. It was explained, very kindly, that I would need to call the Hyundai hotline and file a claim. Not sure if I will....not sure if I want to spend more time than I already have. Expensive lesson. I am sure my experience is not typical....but, that being said, I tried to ask for a Non-typical trade to get out of this vehicle. They did not want to lose money on the trade.......so guess who loses?
