I went to pick it up Monday. I had asked to have it back by 12 if I could. When I called they were still working on it. I went down after a meeting and waited for it. When Justin gave it to me he said the job had fought him. He also said that my brakes were spongy and it was because I replaced the pads and not the rotors and they would be that way until the pads wore in. The sticker was on the truck. He handed me a bill for over $1300. I almost choked since he told me it was not going to be a big deal. Well over $1300 for a service that was worse than when I brought the truck in is a big deal. I took it home and the front end was shaking at 30 mph and the brakes felt like they had air in them. I took the truck to the hospital the next day and found the brakes worse than when I brought the truck in and the front end shaking worse. When I called Justin the next day he told me to make an appointment but I told him I needed the truck that night so he said to bring it in that afternoon. When I got there he was gone but young Stoney looked at it. He discovered that the rear brakes had not been taken up after replace a brake cylinder. In the process of taking the rear wheel off five lug nuts were broke. They were obviously put on too tight. They could not resolve the fading brakes and decided that it needed front rotors. In the process of test driving and trying to discover the shaking they discovered that two u joints were almost falling off. This is after being told what I needed to get it inspected and being told I was all set. They made the additional repairs and brought it home. I am not sure what the additional costs were but I really felt that the original bill had excessive labor charges for what was told to me was an easy job. I know Mike will work with me but it is extremely frustrating for someone has given them a lot of business and referred many people to them. I have always recommended people to them but on this event I can't do so.
