The diagnose was stearing wheel electric pump causing the drain. I end up in buying same for $220 and then to fix the issue it took anther 3 hrs for installation.
After replacement of electric pump it still failed to fix the issue. Now mechanic suggested me that new issue of solenoid failure happend.
I got it fixed for another parts $150 + labour $350.
Then after 2 months during cold season same battery drain issue resurfaced.
This time I went to Mercedes-benz and they said root cause of the issue is weather control circuit causing the drain.
Tico mechanic is do not have expertise to fix all kind of car issues. He take longer time to fix issues and at the end it is very much likely that issue reoccurs.
Tico should say no to work which he can not complete properly. It cost me over $2500 to fix $400 issue. It cost me over week to fix the car which other mechanic could do with in day.
