We got 5 estimates from $5200 to less than $2500. I spoke with Bob from Tree and Palm Service and he was very communicative every step of the way. He sent me his company paperwork along with insurance information. I was able to verify his paperwork through the State of Florida. I am a skeptical customer and was pleased everything he told me was valid.
Due to my schedule, Bob was open to removing the trees one day and stump grinding about a week later. He verified the day before the service he would be there after checking the weather. He showed up on time and started working immediately.
He removed both trees with virtually no damage to the neighbor's fencing or bird cage. There was small, about the size of a dime, mark on one roofing shingle from a branch. Bob repaired the shingle immediately and to my satisfaction.
Due to the sizes of the trees, he had to make two runs to the dump, Bob did not charge any extra for the second run.
As we requested two day work due to my schedule, Bob accepted the initial cost of the tree removal and waited until he could complete the stump grinding for the second payment.
Bob took a wide circumference around the larger stump and got as close has he could to the fence for the smaller tree. He went down about 24 inches removing any chance of the stumps sending up new shoots or lifting up at all.
I need another tree removed in the near future and Bob has earned my business.
