Had a rear wheel bearing replaced and a coolant leak diagnosed. I was told the parts would be $436 for the wheel hub assembly. Came to pick it up a day later and the bill was over $1,150. That was not including fixing the coolant leak that would need the engine removed for. I understand that labor is high and diagnostics are not free but they charged me for additional parts they failed to mention. Plus I was charged a $26 Environmental Charge. Can someone explain to me what that is. And while driving home I noticed the steering wheel was crooked. Not sure how that happened while replacing a wheel bearing on the rear. Guess I will need an alignment now that I’m sure I will be overcharged for.
