2002 Astro Van

Seems to be a tough running vehicle, runs very well when repaired correctly. Tough engine, vehicle handles very well & smoothly. Handles very good in the snow. I find it to be a very comfortable ride. The Vortec engine is really a tough engine. The main reason why I bought it.

Why did they stop

making this van? There is nothing better than having a vehicle that can do more than just take people where they need to go. I have owned 3 of these now ( none of them brand new) a 1995, 1998 and now my 2002. You use to be able to get 2 vehicles in one, a passenger vehicle capable of carrying up to 8 ( depending on the seats ) and a truck that you could carry almost anything a truck could carry. The new ones now aday just can't compare and so far there hard to find. Wanted to try a new one recently as my wife wanted one but couldn't find one, so she bought a Ford Transit. Get with the program General Motors.
