Trumbull Blue Elantra Hybrid Review

The car is great. The main issue I have is that as I accelerate up a hill in a low gear, the RPM's really jump and the car makes a loud noise like it is being gunned to get up the hill. I have to gently press the gas peddle and the car very slowly moves forward to avoid this. Also, don't care for the handle between the passenger seat and the console.

Pros and Cons

Mostly Pros for this car. Love driving it and very happy I went back to an Elantra. It being a Hybrid is an excellent bonus. I think I will be driving an Elantra forever. This is my third one and regret none of the purchases. A couple of cons, but the Pros outweigh them.

My Elantra Hybrid

So far I would rate my Elantra Hybrid as a 4 1/2. It has many of the same features as my previous vehicle—a 2022 Ioniq 5. I especially like the steering wheel that vibrates when another car is in a lane to my right or left and I have my turn signal on and also showing a visual warning on the driver’s display panel. I also like the idea of Internet connectivity which I did not have on the Ioniq 5. In addition, the display panels are easy to read and understand.

A very nice driving car with terrific fuel mileage.

We are retired and we will be taking some serious road trips in the next couple of years. Road manners and ergonomics are terrific. It could use some better lighting in the cabin and the trunk. A great ride at a reasonable cost.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

i've had my car for about 2 months i've made 1 payment...1 and my car COMPLETELY died on me in the middle of driving and almost KILLED me!!! Now my dealer has it for over a week now telling me it will be 2 weeks just to get the part!!!

Very Nice So Far

We have had the vehicle a little over two months and are very happy with it so far. Actual gas mileage has been around 46 MPG, not the 50+ MPG advertised on the sticker. It has plenty of pickup and is fun to drive.
