DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI

I am absolutely livid with Hyundai. I spent $52,000 on a brand new 2023 Hyundai Palisade, and the paint started chipping early on. My wife took it to our Hyundai dealer and showed them the paint chip on the hood. The car had 32,000 miles on it, but they told her there was nothing they could do for her. It was clearly under warranty for 36,000 miles, but they didn't help. Now it's at 43,000 miles and Hyundai National is telling us it's our problem, not there's. DO NOT BELIEVE THE LIES THAT THIS IS AMERICA'S BEST WARRANTY. THEY PUT THE WORDS ON THE PAPER BUT DO NOT HONOR IT WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE.

Good Size family car

Good driving control and good features in caligraphy. few issues - there is little gap for the driver to reach to trash area on left when the door is closed. the seat is so close to the door, its hard to reach to bottle or trash area on the door.

Don’t like issues about second row windows have a foggy look all the time in the sunlight. Seems like Hyundai doesn’t care So far other issues taken care of. Time will tell.

Good ride and beautiful interior not w/o flaws

Although our Palisade was a step up from our 2008 Sienna it is still has flaws that cannot be overlooked. 1) Weak windshield They do that to up sell thier glass coverage at purchase, we didn't buy it. Our windshield was cracked within 3 weeks and it costs a small fortune to replace. 2) safety features that actually put you in harms way. Our vehicle has tosses us into the other lane at various speeds for unknown reasons. The sensors are a hit or miss both during parking and active driving situations. You get too little or an over abundance of reaction from them. 3) Poor paint. Our vehicle is rusting from under the paint working its way up. We have tiny pin point volcanoes all over the car. Otherwise it's a solid ride with a great interior. We don't love it enough to not be on the lookout for another Toyota.

Great vehicle with a few compromises

Drives great, very comfortable, great features at the price points. Larger and clearer displays than many competitors at the time of my purchase. Unfortunately tires from factory are poor, and there is little-to-no underbody shielding which competitors have (making Palisade more prone to rust and less off-road worthy).

The car is great I love the look very comfortable have had no major problems had to have a seat belt replaced but it cost me nothing with my warranty. My only complaint is too much wind noise at highway speeds.

Overall Solid

Based on 2-1/2 years/20,000 miles: a solid performer with several attractive features. Some misses: -- need to manually draw in side view mirrors (automatic on Teluride); -- big miss is the heating cooling fan speed, which requires gloves off in winter, and too much attention (eyes off the road) to hitting the little circle head-on; -- overly complicated option settings for routine items (eg, adding station preset when in current station display mode); -- "adequate" power; -- 3rd row seats power up/down, but 2nd row only power down and manual up; -- difficult to schedule timely service for repair items

Busy mom on the go - Amazing choice. Couple adjustments make it 5 ⭐️

Size is excellent. Tech is off the charts superior to most. Tires - disappointing, only made to 40k hwy miles. Small adjustments like: 1) wipers in back should be on top (for snow and car washing ease). 2) front wipers shouldn’t tuck into hood - then you can’t lift them to prevent freezing to windshield in winter. 3) window seals suction sometimes gets stuck when rolling window up with a crosswind…. Making a loud squeal that’s unbearable to drive with and only fix is stopping rolling window up. 4) wish they’d offer more aesthetic customization on palisade calligraphy. 5) add massage seat to passenger

Loved it until today

I was very happy with my Hyundai until today. Drivers seat ventilation and heater quit. Took to dealer and they said we damaged the wires and would cost us $2500 to fix. Just me and my husband in our sixties. We did nothing to the seat or underneath the seat. Very disappointed!!!
