Nice car with annoying habits

The drive shaft is annoying. You can’t shift from neutral to drive or drive to neutral with braking. This causes the car wash to shut down. The air/heat shuts off at traffic lights unless you press a button EVERY TIME. Every time you put on the radio you have to select favorites if you want to scroll using steering wheel commands.

Downgrade from previous model

After transitioning from a 2023 Palisade Calligraphy to a 2026 Palisade Calligraphy, this model was over engineered and has been a nightmare since we purchased it.

Great value

Grea vehicle to drive. My only problem with it is that the fuel efficiency is not great. I am very worried to drive it on city roads a lot because the fuel comsumption is too much.

Interior issues

Cup holders below front row console and front and rear doors not adequate for bottles or fountain drinks. Needs more console storage. Like to have console for second row seats. Inconvenient reach for seat belts.

Below average

I was happy with my SantaFe technology wise, lane assistance and cruise control was much better. There is this digital key on new Palisade that made my car ran out of battery twice. Low tire pressure, control key is very bad and the door controls are not as great. I am going w/ different car in the future for sure.

2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy

Currently impressed with the vehicle and all of the options. Roomy and nice for 6 adults. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a 3-year maintenance schedule that most all other auto manufacturers give you when purchasing a new vehicle.

We really love our vehicle. It is very roomy and the ride is smooth and comfortable. We upgraded to the all wheel drive package and we are really happy with it. Taking it on the beach is very easy.
