I used own 4 Lexus passed 24 yrs. Now I like my car I more than Lexus

Palisade is good enough for Flagship suv of Hyundai.

Good vehicle but fails in two areas

The quality of the speakers are aweful!! I buy top line cars partially for the sound system. The auto volume to adjust with speed doesn’t work.

Spacious, some technology setbacks

This is a perfect Family SUV. With 4 car seats, I have lots of placement options. The window shades are a huge help and the individual air vents per back seat have made the car very comfortable for our kids. The one down side is the amount of technology, driving issues it has. My steering wheel clicks constantly after a 1 year maintence check and I cant get it fixed no matter how many times I take it in for service. I believe sometimes the amount of software updates to "fit all" can end up making some vehicles worse. I hope that if I keep going in that we will get this ABS/Steering wheel problem fixed eventually, so giving the vehicle 4 starts for inconvience factor.

Endless Recalla

I have only had the car two years and there have been constant recalls on the Palisade. The current one, to which there is currently no remedy, is that the third row is unsafe during an accident because the lack of head room can cause death. The reason I bought the vehicle is for the third row, so now I am unable to use the vehicle as intended.

Mostly great. Some issues.

Great reliability and overall performance. Minor issues are if you accelerate to pick up speed, there is a lag and when the input is increased, there is a sudden increase in the power jolting the vehicle forward. While stopping slowly for a red light, if brakes are applied to slow to a stop, the smooth last moment before stop feels rough either due to the engine or the auto hold. Major Issues Car moves closer to traffic in the next lane when on auto cruise and lane assist mode and fights the driver input for correction too much to make the situation worse. Second, Fuel low indicator needs to start when the remaining range is 70 miles at least. It is at 30 when we just have a gallon left. The worse part is this setting can't be changed. I have been in situations where I have almost run out of gas.

Love my Palisade! On number 2 and counting...

I'm on my second Palisade and looking forward to my next one if upgrades are coming. My husband has his second Genesis and I love my car more than his. The only thing I would really love to have in both car would be the massaging option on the front passenger side. My husband gets motion sickness if he is NOT driving so whatever car we take I miss out on the massaging action. I use that action whenever I'm driving and it really helps me out on my long drives.

Very good so far

Excellent ride, features and acceptable fuel economy. I would suggest getting the electrical warranty as this has been the only downside of this vehicle and so far has been only nuisance stuff. With all the electronics in any new vehicle probably more important than the drive train.
