Smooth Ride, But Missing Some Key Conveniences

Overall, the Palisade offers a really nice ride and a comfortable driving experience. It handles well on the road and feels solid, making it a great option for everyday driving and longer trips. That said, there are a few drawbacks that have stood out over time. The side mirrors are not automatic, which feels like a miss for a vehicle in this class. The remote start feature is also inconsistent—it doesn’t always work when you need it, which can be frustrating. Another inconvenience is that my phone has to be plugged in to use Apple CarPlay. In a vehicle like this, wireless functionality would be expected. Space is also tighter than anticipated, especially in the second and third rows, where legroom can feel limited for passengers. On the plus side, the built-in window shades are a great touch and add to passenger comfort, especially for families. While there are definitely things to like about the Palisade, I’ve found myself more than once considering trading it in due to some of these ongoing annoyances.

Car keeps losing power they can’t find the problem therefore the car is unsafe. Should I have to get out of the way of a car coming and it’s lost power I could be killed in an accident I’m very unhappy with the purchase of the car. After doing research this seems to be a problem that other people are having.

Major safety concerns, but nice car, feels luxurious

This vehicle feels nice and luxurious. Some components seem cheap. Major concerns with safety. Owned the car about a year and a half and already have two major safety recalls over seatbelts and airbags. It’s been almost 6 months and still no parts available for seatbelt fix. At this time airbag recall just came out. Very unhappy with major safety related recalls that take a long time for resolution. What else is unsafe in my vehicle?

Beautiful looking vehicle but needs improvements

Great looking vehicle!! I love the look of it but it needs some improvements. Needs a button to automatically fold in side mirrors. CarPlay needs improvement to work with Apple phones no matter how new or old the phone is. If you need to hammer down on the gas it’s very slow to get going!

Longing for options that were available on older models.

It’s a great looking vehicle. Just confused about why I feel Hyundai went half way with things. Seems like a lot of things were changed compared to older models and wish I had my old one back.

Nice with flaws

Nice vehicle with trim issues. All piano black trim pieces need replacement after one year. The black grill is speckled with small stone or sand chips while all paint surrounding grill is intact. Inferior along with the pillar trim also. So scratched with just hand washing with premium soap. Should be recalled along with the other 3 safety recalls.
