Jerky

The car is cute fun to drive but it sits too low for me and its sometimes jerks while driving.. the tech in it is really glitchy I should have never got white cloth seats and the taillamp sometimes doesn't cut off also the blue link system had me cold all winter because of some glitch.

Power and handling quite good. Gearshift is weird. A console shifter would be better. Needs a rear window wiper. Electronics are somewhat inconsistent in operation. Digital gauge display needs rearranging. I don't need the most prominent display to be gas milage. Would much prefer having a better view of speed and rpm. A heated steering wheel would be useful.

Front end is too low

I have had to have the bumper repairs two times in a year because the front bumper scrapes on the concrete stop blocks. The front end is so long it is hard to judge when to stop. I will probably sell this car next year and get one that isn't so low to the ground

Good and Bad

Electronic glitches. Our particular dealership doesn’t want to make claims even under warranty. Battery was bad when they saw it was h set warranty then they said the battery was fine. Went to Midas and confirmed we needed a new battery and Crain Hyundai would not replace it. This has happened multiple times with services. Lack of honesty and integrity at the story Smith Arkansas dealership. Electronics glitch. The front u effects keep falling off.

Quality Vehicle so far 25k Miles

Everything going well so far! 25k miles in with no problems. Nice smooth ride and handles well! Looks good and actually has a lot of room.

My 2025 Sonata is like the Matrix...Cool, digital and sharp looking

The SEL Convenience package provided all the features I desired in a sedan at an excellent price point. I truly enjoy the open feeling from the panoramic sunroof. The dual 12 inch screens provide endless combinations. Driver's seat with all the adjustment options is very competitive with most rental vehicles I have driven. The passenger seat is adequate. I believe the upper trims have the optional power passenger seat. The ride quality and sound insulation are exceptional for the mid size sedan class.

Window & door control, recalls

I bought a new vehicle to have no repair concerns and costs and for reliability. I've had several issues and have to take of work and use vacation time instead. Then make multiple trips across town to the East Service center because hyundai West Service is ran by a bunch of kids who don't care and don't know how to treat customers. I wish I would have bought a Honda instead and will never buy another hyundai. My window and drivers panel didn't work. My window would get stuck up or down and I couldn't lock or unlock doors. The update recalls kept causing issues as well. They took away storage that I loved about my previous Sonata.

Great Sonata!!

Love my Sonata, this is third one I bought. Drives great, good on gas mileage, very comfortable seating in back & front, roomy trunk & controls makes everything easy. Staff at dealership makes it really complete.
